His guilt was bad. Even if he did nothing wrong in her eyes, he still felt guilty. He still felt like he deserved harsh judgement from her. “Yeah, that’s good.”
“Are you okay?” he couldn’t help but ask him in return. His words, tainted of concern and guilty, she wanted to make sure that he was fine.
The guilt could consume him. He felt so awful for everything. For everything that happened to Wanda, he felt responsible. Clint didn’t know what he could do, sorry wasn’t going to cut it. However, it’s all he could do. “I- right.”
